Finding Stillness

Chronic stress has been linked to numerous health issues, including heart disease, obesity, diabetes, depression, and anxiety disorders. The American Psychological Association reports that 75-90% of all doctor's office visits are for stress-related ailments and complaints.

According to the American Institute of Stress, around 77% of people in the United States regularly experience physical symptoms caused by stress, and 73% experience psychological symptoms.

In rest, the parasympathetic nervous system, which promotes relaxation, slows the heart rate and reduces stress hormones.  Intentional rest supports cellular repair, boosts immune function, and improves sleep quality This offers healing for body, mind, and spirit. Being still allows for direction of truth and purpose. 

Reiki (ray-key), is Japanese for “universal life energy”. This ancient Japanese healing technique was founded by Dr. Mikao Usui in the early twentieth century. Among other integrative modalities, Reiki offers stress reduction and relaxation through gentle touch with documented benefits in holistic wellness.

Reiki operates on the principle of balancing the body's energy flow, restoring equilibrium, supporting natural healing, and facilitating a sense of calm. When energy is flowing freely, the body’s neurological systems can operate more efficiently. Learning Reiki enhances the ability to connect to life force energy; in addition, fosters daily interactions through intuition, reflection, meditation, and mindfulness.

Reiki 1st & 2nd Degree Training

In Reiki training classes, participants learn evidence-based techniques for stress reduction and relaxation, enhancing their understanding of how to support physical and emotional well-being through gentle touch and focused intention. This course provides practical skills rooted in ancient wisdom and modern wellness techniques, equipping students to integrate Reiki into everyday life.

Reiki Master Training

In Reiki Masters training, participants advance their expertise in energy healing, diving deeper into the principles and techniques of Reiki. This course strengthens individuals to harness their potential as Reiki practitioners, cultivating mastery in the art of healing and promoting profound quality of life.

Masters Retreat Training

Nestled amidst 20 acres of nature's embrace, this retreat offers a holistic approach to Reiki training, integrating yoga, meditation, organic meals, and forest bathing (Shinrin-Yoku) into the curriculum. During the immersive Master’s Training, participants advance techniques and deepen their understanding of energy healing principles.  This training provides a supportive space for students to advance mastery in the art of Reiki and foster personal growth at a higher sense of being.

“This weekend was like spending the weekend with my best friends hanging out and playing together. The whole weekend was absolute bliss, like a dream. I am so grateful for the opportunity to train with Jennifer and get to know Isa. I know that this is just the beginning of many beautiful adventures together…

  • I don’t have any complaints, and I can’t think of any way to make it better because it was so wonderful but I know that is not what Jen is looking for, I know you want some real feedback so I’ll just go through the weekend and let you know what I thought.

    Oh, I know the one thing I came up with is I think it would be okay to start a little earlier, at like 0900. It would still give us time to wake up a little later on the weekend but get there and socialize and ease into the schedule, then hit the ground running by 0930.

    Friday was fantastic, we spent so much time outside and I just loved that. It reminded me that I am an outside kind of gal. I have not been spending much time outside like I really like to for the past few years for some reason. I don’t know why, I have a great property for it. It made me think, maybe there are some ways that we can enhance our property so that we get the most out of it. Maybe a fence, so we can putter outside without worrying about the neighbors or the dogs barking at the neighbors. Anyway, outside Ann remembered her authentic outside self because of the activities we did outside. The forest bathing was fantastic and the weather showed off all weekend!

    Saturday, I felt the relationship with Isa forming, she is so lovely. We got a chance to work on each other and get to know each other more. I know that the actual reiki sessions take time, as does the discussion afterwards but I think that is one of the most important parts of the weekend, doing the actual work so I guess what I am trying to say is, if you keep anything, keep that, and give it plenty of space.

    Sunday, was phenomenal, it really buttoned everything up in a neat little package and the time we spent doing the work in the afternoon was awe-inspiring. I felt the energy exchange and the change in the quality of the flow and power. I really felt upgraded! I felt like the energy that flowed through me to the person on the table, healed my body as it came through me into theirs.

    The food was fantastic, I felt so spoiled and special all weekend, I felt worthy, and I felt supported. I think the personal and spiritual growth was the best part of the weekend. I enjoy the upgrade but I think my spirit really needed everything that it received, and it continues to bask in the light that was received this weekend!
